In real estate there are no short cuts to knowledge and experience. Our management and team all have a firm foundation in private practice consultancy at international firms such as CBRE, architecture (local and international qualifications), project management and development experience with both renowned US and German development companies.
Our management has been instrumental in the development of the real estate market in Hungary since 1992 and has achieved many notable „firsts” and awards including the development of the first science park buildings, speculative logistic warehouse schemes, at airport developments and prime downtown office projects. Prizes include Best Overall Development and Best Office Construction Industry Awards, FIABCI and local architectural (Epiteszeti Nivodij, Epito Ipari Nivodij) awards.
Alan is a real estate pioneer in Central Europe having been based in Vienna and Budapest for over nineteen years. Alan was a Director of Richard Ellis International in Vienna (1993) and the founder and Managing Director of Richard Ellis Budapest in 1994. In 1998 Alan was the co-founder and Development Director of AIG/Lincoln in Hungary. He founded ConvergenCE, his own real estate investment and development company in 2004.
In the last 12 years he has initiated over 250.000m2 with an investment of close to €270 million in landmark commercial real estate projects including Infopark I (IBM), Alkotás Point, Eiffel Square and ParkOne office buildings and M1 Business Park, Airport Business Park and Citypoint 9 logistics projects. Alan was also a founder member and examiner for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in Central Europe for over ten years.
Attila is a qualified architect and holds an MSc in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent and Budapest Technical University. His development experience includes project management for Tercon Projecktentwicklungs GmbH in Munich of modern office buildings at Infopark and historic buildings of Budapest totalling 75,000m2 and later as CEO of the local project companies of IVG Immobilien AG in Hungary. IVG Immobilien AG has invested a volume of some €120 million at prime real estate projects in Budapest. Attila became a partner of ConvergenCE in 2004 and was instrumental in securing the asset management work of JPMorgan in Hungary, in addition to personally managing the development of the Citypoint 9 and Zala Park developments. For three years he was a member of the Board of Curators of the Hungarian Deák Foundation.
Csaba has over 12 years real estate experience in marketing and leasing with Colliers International and Equis Corporation and was head of the Office Agency division of CB Richard Ellis for three years prior to joining ConvergenCE in 2008. Csaba has been instrumental in managing the assets of JPMorgan in Hungary and in leasing up the Eiffel Square office project, winner of the Construction and Investment Journal Best Office Building 2010.
